Writing exercise – Pipe chart of degrees granted at Modern University
The above graphs show the percentage of the student who took mater’s degree at Modern University from 1992~1997.
The red area shows the percentage of the student who took M.B.A. degree. The green area represents the percentage of the student who took M.S. degree and the yellow area indicates the percentage of the student who took M.A. degree. Only 15 years of the students took M.B.A. degree in 1992.
However, 60% of the students took this degree in 1997 with an increase of 45%, compared with 1992. On the contrary, the percentage of the students studying an M.A. decreased sharply in the same period from 60% in 1992 to 15% in 1997.
It is interesting that the number of the students studying for an M.S. remained the same during these five years, 25% of the total.
According to the above graphs, it seems easy to conclude that more and more student preferred to study management science in the last five years. The reason of increasing maybe that Modern University graduates who holding M.B.A. degree can find a good job. Moreover, if they want to take a challenge, they can train more man and woman for managerial business. Success, it is suggest that the number of teacher and faculty be increased in coming year.
